A door in Atlantic City was struck by gunfire Monday night, police said.

ShotSpotter, the city's audio gunshot detection system, alerted police to shots fired at about 9:40 p.m.

Police found a bullet struck a door in the 1300 block of Caspian Avenue, Sgt. Monica McMenamin said. Forensics processed the scene.

At 1:22 a.m. this morning, a second ShotSpotter call led police to the 500 block of North Indiana Avenue, where a vehicle and home were struck by gunfire, McMenamin said.

There were no reported injuries in either incident.
