The Black Horse Pike has reopened in both directions after being closed for several hours early in the morning from remaining flood waters.

Snow has been falling in the region including Atlantic, Cumberland and northern Cape May counties.

The snow was expected to turn into light rain at about 9 a.m., said National Weather Service meteorologist Dean Iovino, but light rain continues to fall in the area.

The end of the day should be clear and dry. A light amount of accumulation  of snow can be expected, Iovino said.

Weather alerts from the NWS at 8:30 a.m. stated untreated roads will be slippery until temperatures rise above the freezing mark. Travelers are advised to be prepared for reduced visibility.
