A rare late March snowstorm could continue to cause problems for drivers, with an additional 1 to 3 inches predicted to fall in the area before the National Weather Service’s Winter Weather Advisory expires at midnight.

Snow will mix with rain at times for the rest of the afternoon and into the evening. Slushy snow may possibly accumulate on untreated surfaces, especially when the sun goes down.

Drivers should be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility.

Winds will continue in the 10 to 20 m.p.h. range.
