State Police were investigating the discovery of human remains at an undisclosed location in Atlantic County, said State Police spokesman Lt. Stephen Jones on Friday.
Jones said the remains were discovered Friday afternoon by troopers at a private property in the county.
The remains had not been identified, and State Police were working with the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office and Coroner's Office as the investigation continued, he said.
No arrests had been made in connection with the discovery, he said.
