A panel of political experts will discuss the media’s role in the presidential race Tuesday evening at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

The school’s William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy will hold the free panel discussion Media and Political Campaigns at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Board of Trustees Room at the school’s Campus Center.

The panelists will include Mac Avery, a Stockton political science professor; Steve DiMicco, the chairman of Message and Media, a New Brunswick political consulting firm that specializes in progressive clients; and Charles Stile, political columnist for The Record of Bergen County.

Sharon Schulman, the school’s CEO for external affairs and institutional research, will moderate the panel.

Light refreshments will be served afterward. Those planning to attend are asked to respond to

HughesCenter@stockton.edu.
