Richard Stockton College's Center on Successful Aging will host an Aging Successfully Festival at the college Campus Center in Galloway Township from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.

Co-sponsored with the Arthritis Foundation of New Jersey, the daylong event will include workshops, exhibits and entertainment. There will also be free eye, hearing and depression screenings.

Workshop topics include meditation, tai chi, joint-replacement surgery, osteoarthritis, healthy eating, and how to write and publish family stories.

The documentary movie "Honor Flight," about four living World War II veterans and a Midwest community coming together to give them the trip of a lifetime to Washington, D.C., to see the memorial constructed for them in 2004, will be shown at 10:30 a.m. in the Campus Center Theatre.

Live entertainment will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall. Bay-Atlantic Symphony director Jed Gaylin will give a preview of their upcoming summer concerts at 2:30 p.m. in the theater.

Exhibitors at the event will include the American Red Cross, Bath Fitters, Bayada Home Health Care, Brandywine Senior Living, Fox Rehab, Jewish Family Services, United Way and Visiting Angels. United Way member agencies will also offer information on how to volunteer in the community.

No registration is required, but free lunch will be provided to the first 300 people who register. Contact Helen Crilley at HCrilley@arthritis.org, or call 856-673-1360. A complete schedule is online at stockton.edu/scosa.
