Staff and students were returned to Buena Regional Middle School following a bomb threat this morning.

State Police said the anonymous threat came in at about 8:14 a.m. via the Internet. No other information is available regarding the threat.

Police and K-9 searched the area and found no threats, and students were being taken back to the school by 12:30 p.m.

Superintendent Walt Whitaker said the students were fed at the high school, through a combined effort of high school and middle school cafeteria staff, while they were evacuated.

The incident is under investigation by state police.
