Sue Barber chosen as Buena Vista Township mayor By STEVEN LEMONGELLO Staff writer The Press of Atlantic City Media Group
Township Committeewoman Sue Barber was chosen as Buena Vista Township’s new mayor in a 3-2 vote earlier this week.
The committee chooses one of its own members each year to serve as mayor.
Peter Bylone, who served as mayor in 2012, and Richard Harlan, the deputy mayor, voted with Barber for her selection, said Deputy Municipal Clerk Linda Gonzales.
Longtime former mayor Chuck Chiarello, who lost his mayorship in a split with his fellow Democrats, voted against the appointment.
