An Atlantic City man was arrested and a gun seized when police responded to a call of suspicious vehicles Thursday night.

When Officers Andre Corbin and Ferdinand Berrios-Rodriguez arrived in the 600 block of North New Jersey Avenue, they found one of the occupants had a loaded .380 caliber handgun, Capt. Frank Brennan said.

Kamaal Whitted, 19, is charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $35,000.
