A teen shot moments after a fatal shooting last week was shot again Wednesday night.

The 17-year-old city male was found shot multiple times in the 400 block of North Kentucky Avenue at 9:25 p.m., Sgt. Monica McMenamin said. Officers on the scene said he was shot at least once in the chest.

The family is not cooperating, police said.

The teen, whose name is not being released due to his age, was admitted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, and is expected to survive.

He was the same teen who walked into the hospital June 18, just moments after Zachary Taylor, 19, was fatally wounded on McKinley Avenue. The teen told police he was shot in another area of the city, but officers never found a crime scene.

It has not been determined whether the two were linked.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Detective Bureau at 609-37-5766.
