Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries in a Saturday afternoon two-car crash in Galloway Township.

Police said in a news release that an sport utility vehicle driven by Gerald Connelly, 29, of Egg Harbor Township, was driving east on Great Creek Road near Elaine Drive about 1:50 p.m. The SUV crossed the center line and crashed head-on with a pick-up truck driven by James Dinatale, 27, of Mays Landing.

Connelly had to be extricated from his vehicle, police said. He and Dinatale were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, for treatment of moderate injuries.

A passenger in Dinatale’s truck was treated at the scene and released.
