ATLANTIC CITY – A trash truck knocked over a power pole and temporarily stopped traffic on the White Horse Pike into Atlantic City on Wednesday afternoon.

The truck hit the pole near Route 30 and Grammercy Avenue in the resort around 2:10 p.m., Atlantic City Electric spokesman Frank Tedesco said. No customers were affected.

The wires were cleaned up and the road was open at 2:55 p.m.
