Trump Entertainment Resorts is still trying to beat back Donald Trump's attempt to scrub his name from Trump Taj Mahal Casino and Resort.

On Friday, the company appealed a February court ruling that allowed Trump to move forward with a state-court lawsuit filed over the name.

Trump and his daughter, Ivanka, say they have virtually nothing to do with the bankrupt company besides having licensed the Trump name and mark to it for limited use.

Donald Trump’s company, Trump AC Casino Marks, filed the state-court case in August, claiming Trump Entertainment’s property was not meeting quality standards demanded by a trademark license agreement.

The state-court case was halted when Trump Entertainment Resorts filed for bankruptcy in September.
