Two juveniles have been identified as the culprits behind a fire that destroyed the Egg Harbor Township Youth Organization's concession stand in Veteran’s Memorial Park.
Police and the Scullville Volunteer Fire Company went to the park in the Scullville section at about 4:38 p.m. on Nov. 21 because of the fire. They later determined it had been intentionally set, prompting an investigation.
The juveniles, both under the age of 14, were identified as responsible for setting the fire.
Police have been in communication with the children’s parents and the youth organization in an effort to enroll the children in diversionary programs.
