Two motorists were injured Saturday morning in a crash that closed part of Pitney Road in Galloway Township, police said.

Harvey Brownstein, 57, of Galloway, was attempting to make a U-turn at the intersection of Pitney Road and Elm Avenue at about 10 a.m. when his 2007 Suzuki collided with a 2000 Honda Odyssey driven by Elianys Walker, 34, of Brigantine.

Both drivers sustained moderate injuried and were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus.

The road was closed for about 45 minutes while police cleared the scene.
