Villas man charged with pulling knife on couple walking dog

LOWER TOWNSHIP— A Villas man has been arrested for allegedly pulling a knife on a couple who were walking their dog.

The incident happened near the Delaware Bay and Sandalwood Road at 10:20 p.m. Saturday. Police said they arrested Timothy Donnelly, 25, of the 200 block of West Delaware Parkway, and recovered a silver knife, police baton and drugs. Donnelly was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of drugs.

Donnelly was held at the Cape May County jail where bail was set at $50,000.
