Vineland police reported several incidents at local schools ,including finding a bullet and assault on school employees by students occurring.
On Friday police were called to the Vineland High School South building on East Chestnut Avenue when a vice principal found a live .22 caliber bullet on the floor in the weight room of the school.
Police secured the bullet. No suspects have been identified and no weapons were found at the school.
On Thursday, police arrested a 14-year-old female at the Vineland High School North building for consumption of alcohol by a minor.
Police said the student was drinking from a coffee container but spilled the liquid onto the floor. A security guard smelled the odor of alcohol and determined the coffee had been spiked with rum, police said.
A 17-year-old male and 15-year-old female were charged with simple assault for striking two school security guards who attempted to break up a fight between the two juveniles and another student at VHS North Wednesday.
Police said there were no injuries.
A 17-year-old female was also arrested for assault at the VHS South building Tuesday for allegedly striking a security guard who told her not to use a cell phone, police said. The student dropped the phone and then strike the security guard when he picked it up, police said.
