The unusually warm weather Monday is expected to continue through Tuesday but will not hit record levels.
Brian Edwards, a meteorologist for Accuweather, said a warm front moving through the South is causing the higher temperatures but the weather will go back to normal temperatures beginning Wednesday and through the week.
The high Monday was 67 degrees at the Atlantic City International Airport in Egg Harbor Township, which was shy of the record of 69 degrees in 1998. Edwards said the warm weather will continue tomorrow but will probably not exceed the record of 73 degrees set in 1998.
Edwards said the weather will be back to normal – in the upper 40s – beginning Wednesday and through the weekend.
