The Weymouth Township Elementary School will be open Tuesday after mold was removed from the school, said Superintendent Donna Van Horn.
The school district delayed the start of the school year last week due to mold at the school in Dorothy, but officials were told they were cleared Monday afternoon and can open.
“We are good to go,” she said. “We were given full clearance.”
Other schools that were closed due to mold received some good news recently.
The Ocean City High School reopened Monday after officials closed the school Friday when the mold issue was worse than originally expected. The district closed a portion of the school building on Thursday.
Northfield announced Saturday its Community Day School would not open until Sept. 24 but on Sunday announced the school could open by Sept. 19.
