A Wildwood man was arrested for allegedly spitting on an officer and damaging a patrol car while being transported to the Cape May County jail.

Cape May County Prosecutor Robert Taylor said Isiah McNeal, 28, was arrested for making terroristic threats early Friday morning in Wildwood. While he was being taken to the county jail, Taylor said, McNeal kicked the rear door of a patrol car – causing ithe frame to bend – and then spit on an officer at county jail.

He was charged with aggravated assault and criminal mischief to the patrol vehicle.

He is being held at Cape May County jail on $50,000 cash bail.
