A 30-year-old man Wildwood man remained in critical condition Thursday morning after being stabbed in the back Wednesday night, police said.
Police Sgt. Ken Gallagher said Thursday that the victim, Frankie Sola, was stabbed in the 100 block of West Schellenger Avenue near the Commissioner's Court complex at 6:52 p.m. He was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, in Atlantic City, police said.
Gallagher said Sola was stabbed in an altercation with a yet unidentified suspect and the investigation is ongoing. Police have not been able to speak with Sola because of his condition.
