Winners of the 24th annual Chowderfest competition were chosen by thousands who cast their votes during the festival Sunday.

Howard’s Restaurant received the Critics Choice and Grand Prize title for its New England clam chowder.

Runners-up for their New England chowder recipes include first runner-up Country Kettle Chowda, second runner-up Four Cs Sons and third runner-up Sea Oaks Country Club.

Awards for the Manhattan red clam chowder recipe’s Critics Choice and Grand Prize went to Stefano’s Seafood & Pasta. Black Whale Bar & Fish House was the first runner-up, Bistro 14 the second runner up and Chicken or the Egg was the third runner-up. Atlantic City’s Chart House was rookie of the year.
