Egg Harbor Township police have arrested an Atlantic City woman on charges of breaking into an elementary school and stealing credit cards form an employee’s purse.

Police said Victoria Barnes, 43, entered the Swift Elementary School on Jan. 16 and took several credit cards from a purse.

Barnes used the stolen credit cards to but more than $1,500 in goods at stores in Hamilton Township, police said in a release. Police also said they believe two other Atlantic City residents, Anthony Dorsey and Blaine Dorsey, accompanied Barnes while she used the cards.

Barnes was charged with criminal trespassing and theft. She was already being held at Atlantic County jail on an unrelated incident, police said.

Additional charges of fraud and theft are pending against all three residents, police said.
