A South Carolina woman was hospitalized after she was struck by a truck while crossing Route 30 in Galloway Township Sunday night, according to police.

Jacqueline Graham, 62, was not in the crosswalk and attempted to cross between two vehicles at the intersection of 3rd Avenue at around 10:15 p.m., a release from Galloway Township police said.

Timothy Hesse, 48, of Egg Harbor City, was making a left turn onto westbound Route 30 when he struck Graham.

Graham was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus with an injury to her right leg. She was issued a summons for failure to use a crosswalk.

Route 30 westbound was reduced to one lane while the accident was cleared.
