ABSECON – A Cherry Hill man allegedly drove all the way to the Home Depot on Absecon Boulevard to make off with $3,314 in power tools.

But he didn’t quite make it home.

At 1:50 p.m. on Friday, employees reported a man left the store with DeWalt, Ryobi and Echo power tools without paying for them.

Just an hour later, police found him at the Travel Lodge Motel in Galloway Township.

Glenn R. Fisher, of Cherry Hill, was arrested and charged with shoplifting along with several outstanding warrants

All of the merchandise was recovered and returned to Home Depot. Fisher's bail was set at $5,000 and he was sent to Atlantic County jail awaiting arraignment.
