Investigators released video Tuesday of two persons of interest in the suspected arson of a Vineland law firm and who may also be linked to a fire at the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office in Bridgeton.

The first blaze took place at about 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 at the law firm of Helmer, Conley & Kasselman on West Landis Avenue in Vineland. Less than two hours later, another suspicious fire was reported at the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Fayette Avenue office in Bridgeton. Authorities are still investigating whether the two fires are connected.

Video was recovered from two surveillance cameras near the law firm and released by the neighboring Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, which is leading the investigation.

The video shows two men walking down Bridgeton’s Third Street near the law firm. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, one man is holding a bag that’s believed to contain a gasoline can.

Both men turned onto West Landis Avenue and, two minutes later, are seen running back down Third Street in the opposition direction without the bag.

The law firm has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of anyone responsible for the blaze and the Cumberland and Gloucester County prosecutor’s offices may offer their own $5,000 reward pending approval by their respective county governments.

Anyone with information about the two men is asked to contact the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office at 856-384-5625. Information can also be texted anonymously to CRIMES (274637). Begin the text with GLOTIP.
