ATLANTIC CITY — The Atlantic County Prosecutor's office identified the two men shot Wednesday night.

Police responded at about 8:30 p.m. to the 300 block N. South Carolina Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert and a 911 call for a man shot. When police arrived they found Alnjim Dunbar, 41, of Atlantic City. Dunbar was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police also found Herbert Jacobs, 33, of Atlantic City with a gunshot wound. Jacobs was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.

Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit detectives and the Atlantic City Police Department are still investigating. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at 609-909-7666.
