ATLANTIC CITY - A Pleasantville woman was arrested Tuesday night as one of three suspects for allegedly damaging a vehicle with a baseball bat.

Police said they heard what sounded like a gunshot and arrived in the area of Hobart and Hummock Avenues.

The noise was from a female suspect hitting a vehicle with a baseball bat, police said.

Jasmine Dennison-Brown, 24, of Pleasantville, was arrested at the scene and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a weapon.

She was taken to Atlantic County jail with bail set at $50,000.

The victim who was driving the vehicle said she was at a local convenience store on North Indiana Avenue and was heading back to the car to go home, police said.

She was walking to her home in the 500 block of North Ohio Avenue and saw three females with baseball bats damaging  her vehicle, police said. 

She was able to enter her vehicle and drive away but crashed into a house on Hummock Avenue after losing control of the vehicle, police said.
