ATLANTIC CITY — One man was arrested after an investigation into shots fired in the area of Magellan Avenue Thursday night.

Damage was found to the rear window of a home, but no occupants were present at the time of the incident around 7:30 p.m., police said.

A call to police subsequently reported two males running away on Pennsylvania Avenue. When police found the individuals they said they recovered a TEC-9 semi-automatic gun.

Bradley Williams, 24, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a large-capacity magazine and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Williams previously served two years in prison for conspiracy to commit robbery/carjacking and drug offenses, police said.

Williams is now in the Atlantic County jail on $100,000 bail.

Police returned to the residence to investigate and the window was boarded up.

Williams was a gunshot victim last month, when he was shot in the torso Jan. 5 in the 300 block of North Tennessee Avenue.
