Two juveniles were charged with possession of a weapon and burglary Sunday in Lower Township.

Police responded to the 100 block of West Pacific Avenue in the Villas section for a report of theft and criminal mischief, police said.

The two local juveniles were charged with burglary, theft of a firearm, criminal mischief and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose.

The weapon, a shotgun, which was stolen was recovered along with other stolen items, police said.

The case is pending in Cape May County Superior Court and additional charges are possible, police said.
