LOWER TOWNSHIP - Police arrested an 18-year-old resident who was found in possession of more than two ounces of marijuana Friday afternoon.

Brandon Small, 18, of the Erma section in the Township, was arrested after a three-week investigation into the sales of narcotics from the residence, located in the 900 block of Myrtle Avenue.

The Cape May County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant on Aug. 23 at 1:30 p.m. and seized more than two ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, items used to distribute CDS and more than $1,000 cash identified as proceeds of street level narcotics distribution, police said.

Small was charged with distribution of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was held on ten percent bond or $20,000 cash bail, which was posted, police said. Small was released from the police department.
