Lower Township police arrested a man with an outstanding warrant and charged him with possession of drugs.

Police responded to the Villas section on Jan. 18 for a report of a disorderly person at about 9:17 p.m.

Robert R. Jenkins was in possession of heroin and an Oxycontin tablet, police said.

Jenkins was taken to Cape May County jail with bail set at $20,000. He is charged on the warrant, as well as possession of a prescription legend drug without a legal prescription.
