WILDWOOD — Police seized more than 500 bags of heroin and arrested three city residents in a drug sting Thursday at an apartment on Pacific Avenue, police said.
The police K-9 Unit and the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team found the suspected heroin packaged for street-level distribution valued at more than $5,000 when they executed a search warrant about 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Detective Lt. Kenneth Gallagher wrote in a statement.

Luis Ramirez, 25, and Virginia Long, 29, were each charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute in a school zone and possession of CDS with intent to distribute in a certain public place.
Both were taken to the Cape May County jail.
William Hedge, 22, was charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe and released with a summons complaint.
Authorities also seized $2,500 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales, Gallagher said.
