Both obituaries for Leroy Black.

It's good to be loved.

And Leroy Black, of Egg Harbor Township, was loved dearly. Black, 55, passed away on Aug. 2 at his home surrounded by family.

And he was loved so much that he got two obituaries, one from his wife, Bearetta Harrison Black, and a second from his "long-tome (sic) girlfriend," Princess Hall. Both used the same picture.

In the obituary his wife placed, Black was survived by his son Jazz Black. It does not give a cause of death.

Black died of lung cancer due to fiberglass exposure, according to the obituary mentioning Hall.

That obituary also names surviving siblings and where Black worked.

It's not clear why the separate obituaries were placed, but Joseph Greenidge, of Greenidge Funeral Home, said he didn't see anything unusual about running multiple obituaries for the same person.

Calling hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday with a funeral service at 2 p.m. Sunday.
