The Federal Aviation Administration will celebrate Black History Month on Thursday with a program featuring gifted and talented students from four Pleasantville middle schools.

Students from Leeds Avenue, North Main Street, South main Street and Washington Avenue will present a series of black history skits and compete in a "Say it Loud" quiz bowl at the event, which will be held at 10 a.m. in the William J. Hughes' Technical Center auditorium.

"Say it Loud" is a student competition that reinforces the black history curriculum taught in local schools. Students will answer questions from a variety of categories like "quoting greatness," "famous athletes" and "civil rights heroes."
