ATLANTIC CITY -- Four Millville men were arrested Thursday night, after police found a gun and drugs in their car.

Officers Anthony Abrams and James Karins saw a drug deal at New York and Atlantic avenues at about 10:30 p.m., Capt. Frank Brennan said.

They then watched Datrell Willliams get in the front passenger seat of a car and followed, pulling the car over at a gas station on Arkansas and Atlantic.

"There were four occupants in the car and they saw them moving around like they were trying to hide something," Brennan said.

The officers then saw a handgun being shoved under the seat, he said. They found it was a 9mm with six rounds in it.

No one would admit to the gun being theirs, so all four were charged with unlawful possession of a weapon. They also were charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute , possession within 500 feet of a public park and possession of drug paraphernalia, after packaged cocaine was found,

Williams, 23, also was found in possession of marijuana and was charged for that.

The driver, Michael Stewart, 22, was additionally charged with careless driving and driving with an open container.

Warren Maldonado and Kyle Moseby, both 21, were also arrested.

They were all taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $45,000 bail each.
