Hamilton Township police still are investigating a Sunday crash that injured four people, including a baby girl, and no charges have been filed.

Capt. Mike Petusky said Monday that investigators were still working on the case and that it would be at least another day before charges could be filed.

The crash, which occurred when a sport-utility vehicle driven by Jonathan Calderwood, 25, of Hamilton Township, crashed into a wooded area off Malaga Road near Route 322, striking several trees, injured the baby's parents and her grandmother.

The 8-month-old and her grandmother, Joyce Calderwood, 53, of Mays Landing, were ejected. The baby's mother, Lyssa Piwowski, 19, had been holding the child and was trapped in the wreckage. Both mother and child were flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

Police said none of the passengers were wearing seat belts.

Petusky had no information regarding the conditions of any of the injured, but said all of the victims were alive.
