Vineland police say a man was robbed while making a deposit at a local bank Saturday night.

The victim had just driven up to the night deposit box at TD Bank in the 3800 block of South Delsea Drive at 9:45 p.m. when he was approached by the suspect, police said.

The suspect demanded money, and the victim handed over the night deposit bag and his wallet, police said. Police are not identifying the victim or how much money was in the bag.

The suspect then fled the area along with another person who was in the area, police said. Police and a K9 dog searched for the suspect without success, they said.

Police said they will review surveillance records of the bank.

The victim was not injured, police said.
