ATLANTIC CITY -An Atlantic City man was sentenced to 40 years in prison after shooting another man in August 2012 on Tuesday.

Keshaun Earley, 27, was found guilty of murdering James Jordan, 26, on the 1200 block of Absecon Boulevard in Atlantic City.

Earley was apprehended the day of the murder at his home on the 4800 block of Anglesey Court in Hamilton Township.

Earley must serve 85% of the sentence, or 34 years in prison, before becoming eligible for parole.

The sentencing includes convictions on weapon charges.
