MILLVILLE - Early Sunday morning police arrested a Millville man on a disorderly conduct charge, only to discover he had been shot.

Alphonzo Faulkner, 32, of Buck Street, was shot in his left leg near High and McNeal streets, according to the Daily Journal.

But the wound wasn’t discovered by anyone — including Faulkner — until the Millville Rescue Squad was called in for an evaluation of bruises on Faulkner’s face.

Authorities later arrested another man for attempted murder upon receiving a description of the shooter from a witness.

Police arrested Tevin Tice, 23, of the 1700 block of East Broad Street following a foot pursuit.
