A Monmouth county man on Tuesday won an online jackpot worth more than $150,000 from the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, the casino said.

The casino said in a release that the 29-year-old man, who wished to remain anonymous, was visiting his parents home and logged onto BorgataCasino.com. He took advantage of the casino’s offer of $20 in real money just by creating an online account.

At around 1 a.m. he played $1.50 on the “Going Nuts” online progressive slot game. He won “$153,638.75 from the comfort of his bedroom,” the casino said.

The man told the casino that he has visited the Borgata to play blackjack and poker ever since he turned 21.
