MULLICA TOWNSHIP — Township police seek the public’s help in locating a 64-year-old resident who has been missing for more than 12 hours.

Joseph Herbert was last seen Wednesday at noon. Herbert, who is described as 6 feet tall and 140 pounds, has Alzheimer’s Disease.

According to police, Herbert usually takes walks around town, but returns home by nightfall. He was last wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a black and white flannel jacket. He may be found walking with a large stick, police said.

Herbert, who does not usually speak, will not have money on him, but may have a card with his name and contact numbers written on it.

Anyone with information about Herbert’s whereabouts are asked to call police at 609-561-7600 or 609-652-2037.
