MILLVILLE — Police responded to two separate reports of shots fired Sunday and Monday.

According to police, the first shooting took place about 4:45p.m. Sunday near the 500 block of East Oak Street. Officers arrived to the scene and reported finding six spent shell casings at the scene.

Officers were later notified that a 20-year-old man, whose name was not given, was struck by the gunfire and was driven to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland by another person. Police said the victim suffered two graze wounds to the neck, was treated and released from the hospital in stable condition.

At 2:50 a.m., police responded to six shots fired in the 300 block of E Street. No injuries were reported but police said an unoccupied vehicle was struck.

Police said there are no suspects at this time. Det. Lt. Ross Hoffman said there is not enough information at this time to say if the incidents were related.
