The New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency is hosting a free event Tuesday to offer information on foreclosure and applying for assistance. 

The free event will take place Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the All Wars Memorial Building at 1510 Adriatic Avenue in Atlantic City.

Attendees will be able to meet with HUD-certified housing counselors and vendors who can assist and provide services for foreclosures. There will also be available information available about the NJ Hardest Hit Fund. 

If you are interested in applying for assistance, you must bring materials including a valid government-issued ID, a recent monthly mortgage statement, proof of income, profit and losses statements if self employed, two years of the most recent signed tax forms and W2's, documentation of income from other sources and your two recent bank statements.
