TOTOWA - A fabric company is facing multiple serious violations for workplace injuries.

Precision Custom Coatings LLC faces $185,400 in penalties for one willful, one repeat and 12 serious safety violations, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

In one incident, a machine crushed an operator’s hand and another left a worker with a partial hand amputation, according to a NJ.com report.

The company has 15 days from receiving the citations to either comply, request a meeting with OSHA’s regional office or contest the violations before the independent Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.
