The last day to register to vote in New Jersey before this year's general election is Tuesday. If you're not registered, you have the rest of the day to act.

You can check if you're registered to vote here, at the New Jersey Department of State's website.

If you're not registered to vote, you can do so by visiting the Division of Election's website, fill out the voter registration application for your county and send it or bring it to the county's Commissioner of Registration office. The list of county voter applications is here.

You can also register to vote in person at your county's Commissioner of Registration office, where offices will have extended hours Tuesday. A complete list of each county's registration hours can be found at this link. A list of locations for where to register is here.

The presidential election is 21 days away on Nov. 8, where voters will cast a ballot for their choice nominee.
