Two schools of models for Friday night into Saturday

Today's cold front has passed the region. Much drier air and cooler air has ushered in during the afternoon, ending the mild weather for the foreseeable future.

With the front gone, we now turn our attention to this weekend and the two potential areas to see snow flakes across South Jersey. The first event will be the one with the highest potential for snow, lasting Friday night into Saturday morning.

The second looks to just bring isolated flurries and snow showers on Sunday. This likely doesn't accumulate, but it'll get us in the Holiday spirit.

This is my first newspaper but not my first forecast for NJ. I graduated with a B.S. in Meteorology from Rutgers. Two TV internships gave me a taste for the newsroom. Then, after nearly 4 years in private NJ weather, I'm forecasting South Jersey for you.
