The Batsto Citizens Com-mittee Inc. will hold its 25th annual Country Living Fair at Historic Batsto Village in Wharton State Forest Oct. 18.
More than 85 exhibitors are expected at the event that runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be crafters, pre-World War II cars, steam engines, an-tiques, entertainment and pony rides.
Several quilting groups will auction handmade quilts, and local service groups will be on hand selling food and beverages. New exhibits include a 17th century log-hewing and pit-sawing. A blacksmith also will demonstrate smithing.
Village houses will be open with craft demonstrations, and the 1808 Pinelands (Batsto-Pleasant Mills) United Meth-odist Church will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Batsto is located seven miles east of Hammonton on Route 542 and about 15 miles west of Exit 50 on the Garden State Parkway. For more information, call the Batsto Visitor Center at 609-561-0024.
