Table tennis anyone?
The City of Somers Point will rid itself of surplus property through an online auction site. The more interesting items for sale include two Ford Crown Victorias, a Rowe International Juke Box, pool tables, pingpong tables, arcade games and a pretzel oven.
The terms of the sale are pretty straightforward. All items are "as is, where is." Shipping arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the buyer. There is no minimum bid. Only the vehicles have a reserve requirement: payment within five days and pickup within 10 days.
In addition to the items listed above, there will be seven central processing units, 10 mice, seven keyboards, one LCD monitor, three projection monitors, one Konica Copiers Plus copier, one computer printer, two fax machines, three television sets, two VCRs and nine chairs.
Some of the items, such as the office equipment or TVs and VCRs are sold as bundles, just as the pool tables and pingpongs tables and other items are bundled together. The pool and pingpong tables are coin-operated.
The bidding starts 9 a.m. Nov. 9 and ends 10:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at www.govdeals.com
