GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP - There were fewer students but more police Wednesday on the campus of Richard Stockton College as students and staff waited out a threat written on a bathroom stall stating that something would happen on campus March 23.

The college had notified all staff and students Monday of the threat, but said the college would remain open. A few professors did cancel class, and one even held it at a nearby coffee shop.

Campus police, Galloway police, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's and Sheriff's offices and State Police are were part of the increased security presence.
